Factors That Affect Price

RV warranty costs vary widely based on your RV type (motorhome vs. towable), age, mileage, coverage level, deductible, and term length. Motorhomes with both coach and drivetrain coverage cost more than towable coach-only plans.

Older and higher-mileage RVs may not qualify for all coverage types or from all companies. Exclusionary comprehensive plans cost more than named-component or powertrain-only coverage.

Typical Price Ranges

Powertrain-only plans for towables often start around $1,000–$2,500 for a 5-year term. Mid-level coach coverage typically runs $2,000–$4,000. Comprehensive exclusionary plans for motorhomes can range from $4,000–$8,000+ depending on the unit.

Deductibles affect pricing: a $0 deductible plan costs more than a $200 per-visit deductible. Optional add-ons like tire and wheel, power surge, and enhanced roadside assistance add to the total.

Getting the Best Value

Get quotes from at least three providers and compare annualized costs. Ask about payment plans, transfer fees, and cancellation policies.

The cheapest plan isn't always the best value. Consider claims reputation, insurance backing, and what's actually covered — not just the sticker price.
